Erik Lingvall

Winner of Backstage’s 2015 Readers’ Choice for Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach, Erik Lingvall brings with him over 15 years of experience guiding and training talent, throughout the country. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for tv/film actors in the Southeast.

Originally from California, Erik currently resides in Atlanta, with his wife Jennifer and baby girl Venice. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding his them to enjoy the process as much as the product at the end. April Billingsley

aprilA native of Duluth, Georgia, April has several guest starring and recuring roles under her belt including appearances on such hit shows as “The Walking Dead”, “The Mentalist”, “The Vampire Diaries”, “Constantine”, “Satisfaction” and “Drop Dead Diva.”  You might recognize her from her recurring role as Barbara Langston in the ABC show, “Resurrection”, or from the star studded cast of “Last Vegas” where she plays a supporting role opposite Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Robert DeNiro and others. She is currently starring in independent film, “The Dark Red” directed by Dan Bush (The Signal).



Julia Jones


Julia Jones is an Atlanta based actress – her degrees are in History and Theatre Arts from LaGrange College.  After graduation, Julia moved to Atlanta and interned at Horizon Theatre – performing for a year under an acting apprenticeship.  She performed with several theatre companies in the Atlanta metro area and then discovered the Village Theatre.  Julia has been with the Village Theatre since January 2013.  She performs in Danger the Show, Table Sauce, The Soundtrack Show, Her & Him, The Bilgrones Effect, and guest performs in several other casts.  She is completely in love with the art form of improv and cannot wait to share her knowledge with young, future improvisors!



Jennifer Riker

Jennifer Riker is a working, professional actor with over 30 years in the industry. She earned her BFA from Florida State University and her MFA from the prestigious Yale School of Drama. Some of her credits include roles in House of Cards, Nashville, Mad Men, Law & Order, Castle, & Criminal Minds. She has worked in a variety of theatres including Yale Rep, Berkeley Rep, and Georgia Shakespeare Festival. She is also a voiceover actress. She uses disciplines such as Stanislavski, Uta Hagen and many more.



Cuyle Carvin

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Cuyle has amassed a resume that makes the cows come home.

He’s appeared  and recurred on Emmy winning and nominated shows, and a plethora of #1 rated shows that include The Walking Dead, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, Law & Order: SVU, Code Black, Tyler Perry’s The Have and the Have Nots, and many more. He’s worked alongside stars such as Tom Cruise and also starred in multiple award winning films including nominated films at Sundance FF.




Justin Natic

Justin Natic started his acting career here in Atlanta working in the world of theatre. He’s both directed and held lead roles for many different shows including All in the Timing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Importance of Being Ernest. Justin has years of experience directing and coaching students of all ages. In 2011 Justin made the transition to film and television in Atlanta. He’s appeared on a few local TV shows such as Vampire Diaries and The Walking Dead. You can also see him in films such as Goosebumps, Hunger Games, and Insurgent. Justin is excited to join the Catapult team and work with students on developing themselves as actors.
