Erik Lingvall

Winner of Backstage’s 2015 Readers’ Choice for Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach, Erik Lingvall brings with him over 15 years of experience guiding and training talent, throughout the country. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for tv/film actors in the Southeast.

Originally from California, Erik currently resides in Atlanta, with his wife Jennifer and baby girl Venice. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding his them to enjoy the process as much as the product at the end. April Billingsley

aprilA native of Duluth, Georgia, April has several guest starring and recuring roles under her belt including appearances on such hit shows as “The Walking Dead”, “The Mentalist”, “The Vampire Diaries”, “Constantine”, “Satisfaction” and “Drop Dead Diva.”  You might recognize her from her recurring role as Barbara Langston in the ABC show, “Resurrection”, or from the star studded cast of “Last Vegas” where she plays a supporting role opposite Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Robert DeNiro and others. She is currently starring in independent film, “The Dark Red” directed by Dan Bush (The Signal).



Carrie Anne Hunt

Carrie Anne Hunt is an actress and filmmaker originally from Columbia, SC. She started her career on stage and her classical training has proved to be a strong foundation for her current work in television and film.

Carrie Anne is best known for her work as an actress in The Beach House (Hallmark), Living the Dream (Sky 1 – UK), Magic Mike XXL (Warner Brothers), Sleepy Hollow (FOX), Edgar Allan Poe’s Mystery Theatre (PBS) and Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime).


Julia Jones


Julia Jones is an Atlanta based actress – her degrees are in History and Theatre Arts from LaGrange College.  After graduation, Julia moved to Atlanta and interned at Horizon Theatre – performing for a year under an acting apprenticeship.  She performed with several theatre companies in the Atlanta metro area and then discovered the Village Theatre.  Julia has been with the Village Theatre since January 2013.  She performs in Danger the Show, Table Sauce, The Soundtrack Show, Her & Him, The Bilgrones Effect, and guest performs in several other casts.  She is completely in love with the art form of improv and cannot wait to share her knowledge with young, future improvisors!


Justin Natic

Justin Natic started his acting career here in Atlanta working in the world of theatre. He’s both directed and held lead roles for many different shows including All in the Timing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Importance of Being Ernest. Justin has years of experience directing and coaching students of all ages. In 2011 Justin made the transition to film and television in Atlanta. He’s appeared on a few local TV shows such as Vampire Diaries and The Walking Dead. You can also see him in films such as Goosebumps, Hunger Games, and Insurgent. Justin is excited to join the Catapult team and work with students on developing themselves as actors.



Matthew Barnes

Born & raised in Johnston, Rhode Island, Matthew moved to the Southeast in 2010 to attend Auburn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, & Film and a minor in Theatre. After four years, he decided to pursue acting professionally and moved to Atlanta in August of 2014.

Matthew also has achieved much success as an actor in his brief time in the industry thus far. He can be seen on various television shows such as Donald Glover’s Atlanta, NBC’s Good Girls, MTV’s Scream, CBS’s The Inspectors, Tyler Perry’s The Haves & The Have Nots, The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, & Dynasty,  BET’s The Game & The Quad, and Discovery ID’s Swamp Murders.

He also has appeared in leading and supporting roles in Warner Bros’  “Pure Country: Pure Heart”, Clint Eastwood’s “The 15:17 To Paris”,  Ang Lee’s “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk”, and “Apparition” co-starring alongside Mena Suvari and Kevin Pollak.
