Intro To Scene Study & Performance

This class is designed to introduce young tv/film actors to the power of live performance and working with a scene partner. In our work, we often practice with a reader – this class will encourage truthful acting, honest listening, and moment to moment based decision making with another actor. You will have the opportunity to take risks, develop strong characters, and put technical acting skills into a live performance.

JULIA JONES – Instructor

Julia Jones
is an Atlanta based actress – her degrees are in History and Theatre Arts from LaGrange College.  After graduation, Julia moved to Atlanta and interned at Horizon Theatre – performing for a year under an acting apprenticeship.  She performed with several thatre companies in the Atlanta metro area and then discovered the Village Theatre.  Julia has been with the Village Theatre since January 2013.  She performs in Danger the Show, Table Sauce, The Soundtrack Show, Her & Him, The Bilgrones Effect, and guest performs in several other casts.  She is completely in love with the art form of improv and cannot wait to share her knowledge with young, future improvisors.
