On-Camera Fundamentals is an introductory intensive that was created to give newer actors an opportunity to work with Catapult’s owner, Erik Lingvall. While Erik normally works with more advanced actors, this gives actors newer to the TV/Film world a chance to dive deep into what makes on-camera work effective & unique with Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach (Backstage Magazine.)

ON CAMERA FUNDAMENTALS (OCF): Learn the key fundamentals of owning the audition room and delivering a memorable performance… every time. Award-winning acting coach, Erik Lingvall, brings his 15 years of experience working with and guiding some of the most successful young actors in the entertainment industry.

In this 2-hour workshop intensive students will:

• Create and develop a winning mindset
• Learn what the camera loves (and hates)
• Learn what Erik’s most successful clients have in common
• Explore their vulnerabilities
• Learn to listen to their instincts

OCF ADVANCED: A continuation of OCF, actors will apply the fundamentals learned in the first workshop, to actual scenes from TV&Film!

In this 2-hour workshop intensive students will:

• Learn how to break down a script
• Work script in front of the camera
• Watch playback and dissect your performance
• Understand the importance of connection 
• Learn how to create a DISTINCTIVE audition 

Meet Your Master Instructor: ERIK LINGVALL

Winner of Backstage’s 2015 Readers’ Choice for Atlanta’s Favorite Acting Coach, Erik Lingvall brings with him over 15 years of experience guiding and training talent, throughout the country. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for tv/film actors in the Southeast.

Originally from California, Erik currently resides in Atlanta, with his wife Jennifer and baby girl Venice. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding his them to enjoy the process as much as the product at the end.
